The Lewis-San Antonio Healthy Communities Institute (HCI) was established in 2016 in partnership with Randall Lewis, Executive Vice President of the Lewis Group of Companies. Mr. Lewis is a leader and longtime supporter of healthy communities across the Inland Empire; spearheading healthy cities, educational initiatives, and local government efforts to improve the health and well-being of our region.

Safe Surrender

San Antonio Regional Hospital is devoted to saving the lives of newborns by providing a safe haven to end child abandonment. For more information on the Safe Surrender Baby Law, visit the California Department of Social Services.

Women Caring for Women

Women Caring for Women (WCW), funded in part by private donors, is an outreach program designed to bring the exceptional breast health services offered by the Women's Breast and Imaging Center to low-income, uninsured and underinsured women or men.

The Women Caring for Women (WCW) program is a direct result of a community need identified in San Antonio Regional Hospital’s service area. This program is designed to bring the exceptional services offered by the Women’s Breast & Imaging Center to low-income, uninsured or underinsured women or men. These services include: 3-D Tomosynthesis mammography, ultrasound, breast MRI, and biopsies of all three modalities. For more information about the application process, please contact the Nurse Navigator at 909.920.6258.

Community Lectures and Education

Every month San Antonio Regional Hospital hosts a community health education lecture. These lectures are open to the public for the purpose of engaging the community and increasing education related to important health topics. Lectures are led by the hospital’s physicians, clinical staff, or community organizations. Topics include heart health, women’s health issues, cancer prevention and education, and much more. As part of safety protocols, all community lectures are currently offered through a virtual format.
